Frederick County, VA

Begun in 2000, the Trex Center Office Park was the vision of developer Kevin Adams. The first phase of the project included the site construction and a 60,000 square foot Class-A office building that was the headquarters for the Trex Corporation. The design of the building referenced the traditional architecture of the area in an updated form and created a palette of materials that was used in all the surrounding development. The fast-track development was completed from the first design meeting to occupancy in 15 months. MSA worked with an Agency Construction Manager to complete the project on time and on budget. The first phase budget was 7 million dollars. The second phase of the development included the 9,600 square foot L7 Office Building home to law firm, Lawson and Silek. The design of this building harmonizes with the original while creating a unique identity for the company. The budget for this phase was 1.5 million dollars and was completed in 2005.
