This 11,762 sq ft Catholic Church Building is both a social hall and CCD educational facility. Constructed using insulated concrete form (ICF) technology the building is super-insulated allowing for down-sizing of mechanical systems. The social hall is designed to harvest rain water from its membrane roof. The rain water is stored in an underground cistern system and used to flush toilets and water landscaping. The site design features several BMP solutions such as xeroscaping and rain gardens. The design blends with the existing chapel, allowing the chapel to maintain the starring role.
